Theta II
Theta II Engines (G4KJ / G4KH)
Serving Orillia, Barrie & all of Ontario. Call 647-233-2719.
Remanufactured Theta II long blocks for the engines that fail most often. The 2.4L G4KJ and 2.0L turbo G4KH platforms in Hyundai Sonata, Santa Fe, and Kia Optima / Sportage commonly develop rod-bearing failure and oil consumption.
Every Theta II engine we supply is blueprinted to correct the factory oiling and bearing clearance issues that cause these failures. This is a full remanufacture, not a light refresh of a failed unit.
Applications include Sonata (2011–2019), Santa Fe (2012–2020), Optima (2011–2020), Sportage, and related models. Ready-to-ship stock and short build queue available.
6-month / 10,000 km warranty. Ontario freight included. Core deposit fully refundable. Installation available at our Orillia shop.
